Our worshp servces are the work of the people. Ministers read, pray, usher and welcome people, serve at the Altar Society, or become Lay Eucharistic Ministers

Our community has a thriving Farmer’s Market that serves the community of Downtown Yonkers as a place of nurturing, celebration, and fellowship. Our program is fully supported through the work of countess volunteers.

St John’s is a place of welcome. As part of our calling to nurture, as we are nurtured by God, we host a weekly Food Pantry on Wednesdays at 9:00 AM. Volunteers to serve are always needed.

For children of school age and teenagers, we have a Sunday School and Youth Group. Sunday School meets on Saturdays at 2:00 PM together with St Andrew’s Church. The Youth Group meets after the Sunday Eucharist. Both children and teenagers are encouraged to be acolytes in our Sunday Masses.

Alpha is a series of group conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith. Everyone's welcome. You're invited, no matter your background or beliefs. A multi-week course that creates a space where people come to discuss life's big questions. Everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their story.
