What’s happening at St John’s
Children and youth are the center of the life of St John’s. Sunday School after the 9:00 AM Holy Eucharist on Sundays. The Youth Group meets after the Sunday Eucharist too. Confirmation classes are taught to youth throughout the year. Both children and teenagers are encouraged to be acolytes in our Sunday Masses.
Children and Youth Ministries
We gather in the library at 6 PM on Tuesdays, order Pizza, dine, and discuss the chapter of the book read the previous week. This is an opportunity to learn more deeply about the Episcopal/Anglican tradition, as set forth in the Book of Common Prayer, and find ways to make it the foundation of our Spiritual Life.
Fall Reading Series: Inwardly Digest
Every Tuesday we serve warm, ready-to-eat meals to our friends at Broadway Manor. The Manor is a drop-in shelter that does not serve meals regularly. Our meals help guests enjoy a home-cooked meal at least once a week. You can sign up to serve below or check what items to donate weekly through our E-Newsletter.
